5/20 11:00 PM - High pressure will continue to influence our weather into the overnight with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures gradually falling into the 40s. We will be watching a chance for rain to move into the region late tomorrow morning and into the afternoon as the warm front lifts north into the region. Some heavier rain thunder are possible tomorrow night, and we are watching for some strong wind gusts to mix with these thunderstorms. We will experience a mix of sun and clouds for our daytime hours on Wednesday with some strong wind gusts, up to 35mph. Southerly flow for the second half of the week will give us a nice warming trend, with temperatures reaching the 70s to near 80F by Thursday and Friday, but with that comes a series of disturbances that will bring off-and-on shower and thunderstorm chances into the forecast.
