6/24 2:15pm - Mostly sunny skies continue across the area and temperatures are expected to reach near 80 inland while lakeside temperatures remain a bit cooler in the low to mid 70s. With light winds out of the NE at 5-10mph it will be another great day to get outside and enjoy the weekend. While we should stay dry, there is a slight chance a pop up shower or weak storm could approach from the west. A mix of clouds and sunshine seems to be the story for Monday, but temperatures will still be mild in the low 70s lakeside and mid 70s inland alongside east winds off Lake Michigan. Our next shot at rain begins as showers and a slight chance for storms late Monday night, with better chances of showers and storms likely throughout Tuesday as the low pressure system pushes through. This will likely provide healthy rains across the area, with as much as 1-2 inches from Monday night through early Wednesday morning. [Austin Scheib - Innovative Weather]
