2/16 10:45 PM – After a mostly quiet and uneventful day across our corner of the state weather-wise, we are expecting much of the same for this evening and overnight, with temperatures dropping down into the low- to mid-20s. Our next low pressure system will move in for the day on Sunday, bringing widespread light snow to southeast Wisconsin. Snow chances will start during the early morning hours and continue through the day on Sunday, with snow chances dwindling Sunday night and coming to an end Monday morning. Generally, 1 to 4 inches of accumulation is forecast for the area, with the highest totals expected in southern and eastern portions of the region. Lake-enhanced snow will bring the possibility of locally higher snow totals to areas close to the lake. We are expected to dry out for most of Monday and Tuesday, with our next chance of accumulating snow returning for Tuesday night into Wednesday. [Alex Moxon - Innovative Weather]
